I’m big fan of rice! One of my favorites is Thai Fried Rice, which is an amazing and easy fried rice dish made with key ingredients: jasmine rice, vegetables, and egg, and it’s richly flavored with garlic, fresh ginger and oyster sauce. It’s a great weeknight dinner recipe and you can make it with chicken or shrimp!

Instructions

Step 1
In a small pot with boiled water, add 1 cup of Thai jasmine rice and boil for about 5 mins, drain and set aside.

Step 2
Saute the garlic, ginger, green onions, in sesame oil over medium heat until just translucent. Turn the heat up to high and add the cooked rice.

Step 3
Make the sauce: in a small jar, add soy sauce, oyster sauce and Chili oil and shake well. Pour the sauce to cooked rice, stir well to combine, remove from the fire and serve!

Step 4
Fry an egg and serve it on top of the rice, sprinkle with chives and cilantro and add lime and coriander to the side! Sprinkle some sesame seeds & chili seeds if you like! Yum!
