Steam edamame for 5-7 minutes or alternatively boil in heavily salted water.
Chop garlic and sauté over medium heat in a large skillet. Add chili paste and miso paste and mix everything together. Add soy sauce and mirin and continue to simmer until sauce thickens slightly.
Sambal Oelek Chilipaste
Add edamame to pan and toss in sauce. Serve hot or at room temperature.
