Shiso Pesto Green on Spaghetti is a delicious and unique twist on traditional pesto. The name "pesto" comes from the Italian word for "pound," referring to the traditional method of crushing ingredients with a mortar and pestle. My simplified version of this classic sauce provides a great base for experimenting with your own twist. Blend or pound fresh shiso leaves, garlic, pine nuts, Parmesan cheese, olive oil, salt, and pepper together to create a smooth, green sauce. Serve on top of spaghetti or any other carb of your choice.
